Lunch & Learn

Superintendents,

Are you contemplating the development of a strategic plan for your district? Would a process that incorporates student voice, enlists broad stakeholder input, fosters alignment, focus, and co-construction strengthen the work you are doing?

Dr. Tammy Campbell with The Scholar First is partnering with WASA in hosting a special Lunch & Learn event on Monday, March 6, 2023, from Noon-1 p.m. During this Lunch & Learn, participants will learn about The Scholar First’s unique, student-centered strategic planning framework.

A nationally recognized superintendent, leadership coach and mentor, Dr. Campbell is the founder and CEO of The Scholar First. Her strategic planning process incorporates student voice, broad stakeholder engagement, a Theory of Action to greater align central office and schools, strategy selection grounded in research-based best practices, and sustainable systems and structures to elevate student success.

"Dr. Campbell's approach to student-centered strategic planning is rooted in an authentic and engaging process that includes students, families, staff, and community members who co-construct every aspect of the finalized plan. When we implemented our Strategic Plan this fall, our schools and community had a collective commitment, urgency, and excitement to put our mission, vision, and student-centered goals into action. Dr. Campbell built our leaders' and stakeholders' capacity throughout the strategic planning process, resulting in extraordinary district-wide alignment in service of equitable student outcomes." ~ Dr. Nik Bergman, Superintendent, Quincy School District
